 Requirements for Foreigners that wish to acquire properties in Panama
- When applying for financing you will need a credit report, your two previous Income Tax declarations, a copy of your passport, a copy of your driver’s license, appraisal of the property you wish to purchase and evidence of your income.
- For a resident’s visa, you can purchase a property that is worth over $300,000
Retiree benefits (Women 55 or over and men 60 or over)
- 50% discount in recreation activities (movies, theater, etc)
- 30% discount in public transportation
- 25% discount in airfare

- 15% discount in fast food restaurants and 25% in other restaurants
- 15% discount in hospital services and private clinics and up to 10% discount in medications
- 25% discount in your electric bill (up to 600kWh)
